Love Lana Del Ray for H&M this Autumn!

Global singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey is the face and voice of H&M this Autumn

Lana Del Rey, one of the biggest names in music, will be the global face and voice of H&M this Autumn. Lana will star in a print campaign shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, as well as a full-length film of Lana singing a cover of “Blue Velvet”, shot by director Johan Renck.

This fully-plotted music video starring Lana will be available to see in its entirety at hm.com from September 20, with edited versions used as TV campaign. Throughout, Lana will be wearing the best of H&M’s Fall fashion in her own inimitable style. Lana will also star in a second print campaign later in the season, shot by Sølve Sundsbø and featuring the best of winter fashion.
“We are excited to have Lana Del Rey, the new star and style icon, as the face of our fall campaign. Lana is totally unique, and we wanted to create a print and film campaign that’s just as special. The mood is very L.A. noir and is inspired by our Fall collection, which also fits with Lana’s own personal style. The commercial that accompanies the campaign is like a mini-film, with a fantastic plot and Lana performing a cover of “Blue Velvet”. There’s never been a TV commercial that’s looked anything like this.” Donald Schneider, Creative Director, H&M commented.

Lana became an instant worldwide star earlier this year with her single “Video Games” taken from the multimillion selling album “Born to Die”, and is known globally for her distinctive personal style. For the print campaign, Lana wears the best of H&M’s fashion for Fall, from a pink angora blend sweater to printed leggings, a tweed biker jacket and a tweed figure-hugging faux leather trimmed dress. The film is a fully-plotted music video starring Lana as she sings “Blue Velvet”, which will be available to see in its entirety at hm.com from September 20, with edited versions used as a TV campaign. Lana will also star in a second print campaign later in the season, featuring the best of winter fashion. These collection is available online now and further items to be added at the end of October.
These are the pieces in the collection that I have bought or have on hold because they have already sold out!

This beautiful blazer, great for work or the evenings is only £24.99. The fluffy mini skirt that goes with it is £24.99 but I didn’t go for this in the end as it is really short.

This fitted dress goes with the blazer. Although fitted, it actually hides any lumps and bumps as it is really stretchy and a tick material. Looks great with black tights and high heels for the sixties look. Dress was a bargain at only £19.99.

This sexy wool mint green jumper is £29.99. Very soft and snug. I got mine in a massive size so it would really slouch over my shoulder.

This gorgeous floral print features in a few pieces inthe range and pefect for Autumn. I love the way the top fits at the waist and folds out as I am an hourglass shape and blouse tops like this can ussually make me look bigger. Would look amazing with a pencil skirt. If you don’t fancy this busy floral colour then they also do this top in black, cream and pink. The blouse is £14..99.

The print also comes in these leggings which look really pretty with the top above in the cream colour. They are really stretchy and comfy so fine for bigger sizes as sometimes H&M leggings come up so small. They are only £9.99.

This cream coat which has a long zip and fur lined hood is a real luxurious item and lightweight to wear over items but warm enough for the Autumn chill. Very flattering shape on. £34.99.

This gorgeous salmon pink fluffy jumper is so soft and sixties looking. £29.99 but worth it for a fashion statement.
Finally I will finish with these great nude, patent shoes. They remind me of the ones Kate Middleton has been constantly wearing at the moment from KC Bennett which are always sold out. These are a snip of the price at £24.99 and go with eveything. The insides are quite padded and comfy. Very high at 4 inches but love them.

I bought all of my H&M pieces online as I couldn’t find any of the larger sizes in the shop in Oxford Street. Also they never have my shoe size 8 in any stores! So I find it easier to order like this and have it all delivered together. Great campaign with a really beautiful musician and love the sexy sixties vibe of the whole collection.
